I met up with Shelley and Brent on main street for some cute festive engagement pics. I am soooo excited about their wedding this October. It's at the Caroline Vineyards and I have been DYING to shoot there! These two are so cute together! I just love it when people "click" like these two do!
Melinda and Kevin finally tied the knot after 9 years or something crazy like that. Melinda is one of the coolest brides ever. I actually lucked out in getting to shoot their day. Somebody else had originally booked it, but then unfortunately the wedding got called off earlier this summer...then magically two weeks later Melinda called and the rest is history. She is just one of the many girls that were referred to me by the ladies at http://www.stlwed.com/ so...to whomever is posting about their experiences with me..THANKS SOOOO MUCH! I love my stlwed brides! They always rock! I also want to give a special shout out to Jerren for capturing some awesome images as usual...His site is http://www.jaykene.com/! Check it out when you get a chance! He's great! Here's a sneak peek at some of the highlights of the day!
Hilary and Jess were married at St. Cecelia Catholic Church last Friday. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have seen in a long time. The night flew by and everyone had a blast at the reception. Congratulations guys and thanks for letting me share your night!
Sunday started off at the Botanical Gardens and Tower Grove with Danielle and Lennel.
and here is Kristen and Bob on Main Street in Saint Charles! I have no idea what happened...but my last post somehow got deleted! So here we go again...to sum up the last post...I got to photogrpah two very great couples last weekend. Danielle and Lennel and then later in the afternoon, Kristen and Bob. Here are some of my favorites! Sorry about that girls!
Man...My worst nightmare almost came true last weekend for Ashley and Bryan's wedding. The chance of rain was like 80% and I thought FOSHO it was going to be a total washout...which has not happened to me yet in over 55 weddings! But, miraculously, we were able to squeeze in most of what we needed before the rains set in! We had a blast. Jen Hanneken shot with me that day and we had some good laughs at the reception....Bryan those were some pretty smooth moves! Congrats guys! This is one of Jen's shots This shot is blurry (one of the hazards of people's flashes goingoff at the same time as mine, but I love the look on her face! The ring bearer was sooo cute! He was hamming it up for me during the ceremony. Yikes, check out that umbrella... so we headed down to Union Station
Contact me for an AMAZING special I am offering in those months!! Serious savings to the first ones who book in either of those months.

Boudoir Information
*** BPIC sessions are closed for 2008***** These shoots are a lot of fun! I think most people find it nerve wracking at first but then feel at ease in no time and just start having fun! I don't know one person who has regretted doing it and the guys I have talked to have thought it was the best thing their wife or fiance has ever done for them! The shoots can be done at my house (pics on my blog http://www.sjmacky.blogspot.com/) or at a hotel of your choice. If you choose the hotel you would pay for the room. Some hotels give discounted rates if you only want to rent for part of the day instead of a whole night. The cost of the session when it's done at my house is only $250 and that includes a high res DVD with all of your images (usually around 75-125..sometimes more) and I "touch-up" (meaning airbrushing trouble spots and stuff) about 20 of your favorites. I also put them in a passcode protected gallery so you have a little online slideshow.
one of the only pics you'll ever see of me (there's a reason I stay BEHIND the camera) One of these days I'll get a cool picture...until then this will have to do!
