We went to the Botanical Gardens during the last week of October for this shoot and man it was so beautiful...and it didn't hurt tht Brooke and Clint are so cute too! (and Brooke I am not just saying that because I know you read my blog...HI) ha ha anyway I am so excited to shoot this wedding. They are both so fun. These were some of Brooke's favorite pics.
Rebecca and Mike were one of the most calm, organized couples I have worked with so far. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of time Rebecca must have devoted to planning this wedding. It was a fall themed wedding with the ceremony and reception at the Wildflower in the Central West End. That place is great for smaller weddings! Rebecca had some of the neatest DIY projects! It was so nice spending the day with them. Mikes family's is from the south and they just had such a way of making me feel like part of the family!! Congrats guys and thanks for lettimg me share your day!!
These fruit and veggie topiaries were AWESOME!
I loved her picture frame idea to remember family members that had passed away! such a cute idea for a fall themed wedding! This room had such an intimate feeling and was all it by candles during the ceremony and dinner!
I thought this cake was so neat because it wasn't the traditional white wedding cake!!
This was the first weekend I have not had a wedding in a long time. We got to do "family stuff" this weekend. I just love this fall weather! We picked out our pumpkins just in time for Halloween!
I just love shooting at The Conservatory! Meredith and Pat had a wonderful wedding there last Sunday and then a reception at the Foundry Art Centre on Main stree in St. Charles! It was so neat!
Finally I got to do engagement pics somewhere besides your traditional park! Jenny and Dan wanted to go to the landing! It was during game 3 of the World Series...but parking was still a breeze!
Contact me for an AMAZING special I am offering in those months!! Serious savings to the first ones who book in either of those months.

Boudoir Information
*** BPIC sessions are closed for 2008***** These shoots are a lot of fun! I think most people find it nerve wracking at first but then feel at ease in no time and just start having fun! I don't know one person who has regretted doing it and the guys I have talked to have thought it was the best thing their wife or fiance has ever done for them! The shoots can be done at my house (pics on my blog http://www.sjmacky.blogspot.com/) or at a hotel of your choice. If you choose the hotel you would pay for the room. Some hotels give discounted rates if you only want to rent for part of the day instead of a whole night. The cost of the session when it's done at my house is only $250 and that includes a high res DVD with all of your images (usually around 75-125..sometimes more) and I "touch-up" (meaning airbrushing trouble spots and stuff) about 20 of your favorites. I also put them in a passcode protected gallery so you have a little online slideshow.
one of the only pics you'll ever see of me (there's a reason I stay BEHIND the camera) One of these days I'll get a cool picture...until then this will have to do!
