First maternity shoot

Bobbi was my first bride to get married in January of 2007 and now they are expecting their first child in January of '08. I was excited to be able to do this shoot for a couple of reasons...Bobbi is one of the most georgeous people I know and I had never done a real maternity shoot before. Here are some of my favs!

So after a visit to the zoo awhile back I finally got time to go through some images...and I realized that I got better smiles from a goat than I did from my own child....The goat was all about hamming it up for the cam...


But all I could get from my three year old was this....


good times....I am sure moms all over can identify with this...

Congrats Clara and Chris!

When people ask me why I like shooting weddings so much, for me the answer is easy. I LOVE capturing those true emotions. I want people to be able to look at their images and remember exactly how they were feeling at that very moment. It's not always an easy thing to do. You have to be very anticipatory sometimes...waiting for that perfect moment...last weekend this was not the case. Clara and Chris's wedding was one of the most emotional weddings I have ever seen...You can just tell how close the family is and how much Chris and Clara truly love each other. It seemed like every time I turned around someone was crying or laughing hysterically...I LOVE that! Stef and I had a blast. Here are a few of my fav's from the day!



I really though Chris was going to need a chair at the altar...he was an emotional wreck! It was soooo sweet!

Clara sang Chris a song as a surprise right before the first dance! It was so beautiful (and yes...chris cried)

Happy Halloween

Those of you who know my kids personally know how fitting these costumes are...people say "a picture tells 1,000 words" and it is so true in this case!

Misty and Jeremy

Misty and Jeremy had the most awesome weather for their October 27th wedding. I wish every day could be as nice as this one! Jodi with Life-in Print second shot with me and we had a lot of fun! Congratulations guys! Here's a quick slideshow!

Nicole and James

Well, yet another fabulous couple who are getting married next year...and guess what?! Nicole and James are getting married on my birthday! Yay! We were downtown once again for this engagement shoot. I tell ya it's a challenge to be at the same locations and make the pictures look different. I try not to do the same things because I know alot of girls share their images online! How'd I do so far?

Erin and Scott

Man October is a super busy month...everyone wants those pretty fall colors...so I have been swamped. I should be getting ready for work right now but instead I decided to catch up on my blog. Erin and Scott are just one of my many favorite couples getting married next year. We tried to do a session Sunday but the wind was out of control.
