I HATE CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS

anyone else feel my pain? I called three weeks ago to verify that I could get service in my new house (it's a LARGE subdivision and well established so it shouldn't have been an issue) The told me yes after they had to take a WEEK to "check" on it. They set up my services, gave me my new phone number (which I have already given to my clients, family and friends) and then ON THE DAY they are supposed to install my cable, internet, and phone tell me that I can't get service at my house...Here's the kicker...12 house down the street has service available! Basically they told me there wasn't a high enough demand for service on my street...duh...it's a new section...the bottom line is because there aren't enough people ordering the service they won't run the wires from the hub that is ALREADY there 12 house up to my house... HELLLLOOO maybe there isn't a high enough demand because the company is so freakin' inept that no one trusts them...but I am trying to get their service and they're turning me away!! So I call AT&T to sign up for dish and high speed and they don't offer high speed in my area either...c'mon give me a break...I am NOT in the boonies or anything...so if anyone has ANY suggestions on what I can do to get high speed DSL ASAP please let me know! I will look into all suggestions. I am able to check my email from school (and obviously post from school) but what I can't do right now is post pictures or upload anything for anybody or check my email from home. I am really sorry and hope to get this resolved asap!! :(

wow...I need a vacation

These last couple months have been insanely stressful...between closing on my new house, selling my current house and my monitor blowing up..things have been crazy...but fun nonetheless...Here's a few images from the last three shoots...I tried posting the slideshow links but it isn't working...but they are all on phanfare if you're wanting to see more!

This first post is Jessie and Anthony...They got married in New Towne...which if you've never been there is pretty cool...but almost stepford-like...The chapel is really neat

This is Anthony seeing Jessie for the 1st time all dressed up and ready to get hitched

Jessie and Anthony wrote their own vows! I love when people do that because there is either a lot of crying or a lot of laughing...in this case everyone was laughing!

Kristen and Bob had such a beautiful event. They had an evening wedding and the church had luminaries...the flowers and colors were so gorgeous...I wish I had time to post more pics!

If the grooms only knew what brides went through getting ready...it just isn't fair

This is Kristen and Bob getting ready to see each other for the first time...Jerren really captured the moment here!

This little girl was such a doll

Santa hopped in for a pic...downtown mainstreet in St. Charles is really cute this time of year

love this shot Jerren got

ok how cute are these two??! Lindsay and Tyson are getting married this spring and I can't wait! They are just awesome...here's a few from our shoot at Forest park...lovin' the light...it was such a pretty day

First maternity shoot

Bobbi was my first bride to get married in January of 2007 and now they are expecting their first child in January of '08. I was excited to be able to do this shoot for a couple of reasons...Bobbi is one of the most georgeous people I know and I had never done a real maternity shoot before. Here are some of my favs!

hmmmmm......

So after a visit to the zoo awhile back I finally got time to go through some images...and I realized that I got better smiles from a goat than I did from my own child....The goat was all about hamming it up for the cam...

But all I could get from my three year old was this....

good times....I am sure moms all over can identify with this...

Congrats Clara and Chris!

When people ask me why I like shooting weddings so much, for me the answer is easy. I LOVE capturing those true emotions. I want people to be able to look at their images and remember exactly how they were feeling at that very moment. It's not always an easy thing to do. You have to be very anticipatory sometimes...waiting for that perfect moment...last weekend this was not the case. Clara and Chris's wedding was one of the most emotional weddings I have ever seen...You can just tell how close the family is and how much Chris and Clara truly love each other. It seemed like every time I turned around someone was crying or laughing hysterically...I LOVE that! Stef and I had a blast. Here are a few of my fav's from the day!

I really though Chris was going to need a chair at the altar...he was an emotional wreck! It was soooo sweet!

just look at how excited Chris is here!

Clara sang Chris a song as a surprise right before the first dance! It was so beautiful (and yes...chris cried)

and yet once again, getting emotional during the first dance

Happy Halloween

Those of you who know my kids personally know how fitting these costumes are...people say "a picture tells 1,000 words" and it is so true in this case!

cutest kids ever!

but then again I may be a little biased!
